I currently own and operate a relatively new fitness studio, Turn & Burn Fitness, where we offer indoor cycle, boot camp, yoga and Barre classes. I also own a private pediatric therapy practice which provides speech, occupational and physical therapy to children in Mecklenburg county and its surrounding counties. After 15 years of providing these services, and teaching cycle classes on the side, I decided it was time to take a leap of faith and look into opening a studio. I was diagnosed with Lymphoma in November of 2015 and went through a rigorous treatment of chemotherapy and radiation over the following 8 months. During that entire time, I was supported by an amazing community including the friends that I had made through working out and teaching. After my recovery, I wanted to help create a space where others could come to not only work out, but to also feel welcome and supported no matter where they are in their wellness journey.
